Instructions for Appliance Cleaning

• Washing Machines: Add approximately 100g of citric acid powder (about 1.3 dl) to the detergent drawer and run an intensive cycle, preferably at 90°C, with an empty machine and no prewash. Follow with the same cycle using a small amount of detergent to remove any loosened residue from the machine.

• Dishwashers: Add 30g of powder (about 2 tablespoons) to the detergent compartment (never the rinse aid compartment!) and run the hottest cycle.

• Coffee Makers: Dissolve about 25g of citric acid powder (just under 2 tablespoons) in 500ml of cold water. Pour into the coffee maker's water tank, fill to the max line with water, and start the machine. Let half the water run through, then turn off the machine and let it sit for 30 minutes. Run the remaining water through, then rinse the coffee maker by running two to three full tanks of fresh water.

• Kettles: Boil 500ml of water, add 25g of citric acid powder (just under 2 tablespoons), and let it sit for about 15 minutes without reheating. Empty and rinse by boiling fresh water three times to thoroughly clean.

• Irons: Dissolve half a teaspoon of citric acid in about 200ml of water, pour it into the water tank, and fill with water. Steam out the mixture onto a clean cloth. Rinse by repeating the process with fresh water.

For General Cleaning

Make a cleaning solution by mixing two tablespoons of powder with 1 liter of cold water. This solution can be used to clean faucets, tiles, bathtubs, and faucet nozzles. Always rinse surfaces thoroughly with clean water afterward.
